両丹とは、舞鶴市・綾部市・福知山市を合わせた総称で、「にのくに茶」として市場に出品されます。その後宇治へと渡り宇治抹茶となる「隠れた銘品」とも呼べる逸品です。
きめ細やかな泡立ちと、深い緑が特徴で、後口の甘さ旨味が「さすが両丹」とご納得のいかれるお抹茶でございます。

“Ryotan” is the traditional name for the region encompassing Maizuru, Ayabe, and Fukuchiyama in northern Kyoto Prefecture.

Tea grown in this region is presented at market under the name **“Ninokuni-cha.”** It then makes its way to Uji, where it becomes part of what is known worldwide as Uji Matcha — making Ryotan tea something of a **hidden treasure of Kyoto.**

KIRIN is distinguished by its fine, delicate foam and beautifully deep green color.

Its lingering sweetness and rich umami reveal the true character of Ryotan-grown tea — a matcha that leaves you thinking,

“This is Ryotan.”
